In October 2013, the implementation of a first functional prototype of the ARGUS system was ready to be tested and evaluated.
For this the ARGUS team met up in Soest, Germany with a selected group of users.
One of the most important and remarkable facts was the participation of a young female student of the LWL Berufskolleg in the user tests who told the interviewers that she normally never goes outside without assistance, but with the help of the Argus system, she expected a higher level of safety and independence for her future life.
The initial results of this testing have been submitted to the European Commission and based on the results of the evaluation, the work will continue refining and completing the development of the ARGUS system.
In the final phase of the project additional efforts will be made to disseminate the project results and prepare for their future exploitation.
